Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Poverty, disease, hunger, and hopelessness are robbing billions of people everyday of their joy, health, and life. You don't have to watch the news for very long to realize just how much hurt there is in our world, so we've decided to do something about it!
We are partnering with an organization called Speed the Light that provides vehicles to missionaries so they can travel to the places that need hope most. These missionaries build wells, administer medicine, and in word and action they proclaim the good news that Christ has "come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
Q: What is 300 for 300?
A: We've set a goal to find 300 people who will donate $300 to Speed the Light. We've already had several people contribute and we're looking for more so we can be a part of changing the world!
Q: What does this money go to?
A: While we are partnering with Speed the Light to support missions around the globe we are focusing first on helping LaDawn Rance, whose work in the Dominican Republic (neighboring country to Haiti) has been very successful. She has been able to do incredible things in helping children and changing lives with the hope of Jesus Christ, but for her efforts to grow she needs a set of wheels! Our goal should not only raise the money to help LaDawn, but other missionaries as well.
